I’ve
been practicing Yoga for 31 years. Shortly after my oldest son was born,
I began taking Yoga classes at an Adult Education class at Olmsted Falls
High School. I took classes and practiced at home during most of the
years that my three sons were growing up. My practice definitely made
me a better mother. I was certainly less stressed and more rested than
I would have been without it.

My first Yoga training was to become a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist
in Housatonic, Massachusetts. I became certified in 1989 and
was a mentor in the program during the next five years. Later that year
I took my first Yoga Teacher Training at the Kripalu Center
for Yoga and Health in Lenox, Massachusetts and became a certified
Kripalu Teacher that year. I’ve been teaching ever since, first
one class a week and slowly adding classes over the years until now
I teach eleven classes a week.
In 1995 I completed another Yoga Teacher Training with Integrative
Yoga Therapy in Mill Valley, California and followed that by
beginning a masters program at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park,
California. I earned a Masters degree in Psychology with an
emphasis on Yoga in 2001. I wrote my Masters thesis on Yoga
and Parenting which is near and dear to my heart. I’ve continued
to receive training throughout the years with various well-known and
lesser-known teachers in smaller segments.
I love teaching Yoga. I received and continue to receive so much from
my own practice that I’m delighted and honored to share it with
anyone who wants to come to my classes. I welcome you to come to a class
and see if it’s a fit for you.
Namaste,
Carol
